Rural properties are a specialty! I've got no problem being in rural or remote places- even in bad weather, or with nearby predators like coyotes, wolves or bears. In summer, I enjoy camping in rural areas which often means sharing space with lots of different wildlife, including bears.
From severe winter storms to summertime tornado warnings, I've experienced a lot in my work.
I've been snowed in, depending on snowshoes to get to the barn, hauled water from the house to animal enclosures when outside faucets froze. I've used snowblowers, shovels and sand to make paths and driveways safe, and even relied on woodstoves when fuel oil ran out during a nasty winter storm.
Summertime tornadoes and severe thunderstorms mean securing things around the property and that animals have safe places and ways to shelter.
Yep! I'm used to hearing/seeing coyotes, and birds of prey . I've stayed on properties with bears and wolves nearby, too.

No, only my only platforms are Facebook, Instagram and this website.
I was disappointed by other platforms when looking for my own pet care.. Not having to pay membership or user fees also means I can keep my prices lower. I also prefer to limit the number of companies that have access to my data, which was another reason not to engage with those platforms.
Use the form on our Contact Us page, or e-mail
info@tish-happens.com to get in touch and tell me a bit about your household and needs.
Then we'll set up a time for me to come out and meet you and your animal crew. We can ask each other questions, and you can show me what will need to be done while you're away- all at no charge.
When the dates and workload are confirmed, I'll give you a quote, since my rates vary according to the workload.
